Select Vestry 2009-2010

Each year the Parish gathers for the annual church meeting called the Easter General Vestry. This meeting gives the Rector the opportunity to thank those who worked so hard throughout the year for the Parish. It is also the Parish meeting when we elect new Churchwardens, Glebewardens (responsible for upkeep of the Rectory) and, every third year, representatives to attend the Diocesan Synod.

The 2009 Vestry was held in the Parish Centre on 5th April and the following were appointed/elected:

Churchwardens

  • Brendan Teeling – Rector’s Church Warden
  • Olwen Lynch – People’s Church Warden

Glebewardens

  • Jonathan Boyle – Rector’s Glebewarden
  • Brendan Bournes-Harpur – People’s Glebewarden.
