Clontarf Bowling Club

Our Bowling Club started its life as a branch of the YMCA called the Young Men’s Society. It met in the Town Hall, which is now St. Anthony’s Church, on the sea front. It became known as the Church Association with its interests both religious and secular.

In 1963 it ceased to exist and was then reborn as the Clontarf Parish Church Social Club with 61 members. In 1972 the Clontarf Church of Ireland Bowling Club was born and had a limit of 40 members.

Today Clontarf Parish Bowling Club has a very healthy membership of 27. We enjoy bowling weekly and love to see new members.

We are an open club welcoming members from our Parish Family and beyond.

We play in League matches against other teams from around Dublin and enjoy this very much. We also have in-house tournaments.

Supper and a chat is a very important part of our Club evenings. Lifts can be provided for those who live alone.

Come along and enjoy an evening bowling with us.
