Flower Guild
The Flower Guild is run and co-ordinated by Iris Acheson and Betty Gallagher. The purpose of this ministry is to have the Church looking as beautiful as it does. The Flower Guild is responsible for the array of flowers which decorate the Parish Church every Sunday of the year outside of the Advent and Lenten Sundays. These have traditionally been Sundays when the Church is left bare.
Alongside the regular Sundays, the Guild takes upon itself the responsibility of decorating for Harvest, Christmas and Easter. These are times in the Church calendar when an extra effort is made to make the Church look especially festive.
Clontarf Parish is very blessed with floral decorators of great experience and skill. However, we are always looking for new helpers. No qualifications necessary here, only the willingness to try.
