Select Vestry
Each year the Parish gathers for the annual church meeting called the Easter General Vestry. This meeting gives the Rector the opportunity to thank those who worked so hard throughout the year for the Parish. It is also the Parish meeting when we elect new Churchwardens, Glebewardens (responsible for upkeep of the Rectory) and, every third year, representatives to attend the Diocesan Synod.
The 2008 Vestry was held in the Parish Centre on 9th March and the following were appointed/elected:
Churchwardens
- Ted Jones - Rector’s Church Warden
- Lindsey O’Toole - People’s Church Warden
Glebewardens
- Brendan Bournes-Harpur - Rector’s Glebewarden (on the left)
- Nigel Darragh - People’s Glebewarden.
Select Vestry
The Select Vestry, the management committee of the parish, is also elected at the Easter Vestry. The Churchwardens and Glebewardens are ex-officio members of the Select Vestry which is chaired by The Rector. The other members elected for 2008 are:

The Select Vestry has elected Bruce Maxwell to serve once again this year as Honorary Secretary, with our finances once again in the very capable hands of Ronan Kelly.
